Sunless Tanning Products With No Messy Aftermath
You want to know what
the world needs? A healthy tan! Or at least everyone seems to think
so. Now, the two terms "healthy" and "tan" are a bit contradictory.
As we all know by now, tans are really not that healthy. In fact,
they lead to premature aging and skin cancer. None of us want these
things. Luckily for Caucasian individuals everywhere, there are now
some tanning products available without side-effects. Yes indeed,
you can have your cake and eat it too. Say hello to the spray-on tan
and infinite other sunless tanners.
Why is it that everyone wants a tan in the first place? From what I
hear, Coco Channel started this whole trend back in the day when she
returned to Hollywood with a vicious tan she acquired while on vacation
somewhere. Suddenly everyone wanted a tan. Personally I prefer to stick
with the skin color I was given, but to each his own. Anyway, back then
everyone was sun-bathing like it was no big thing. A couple hours
basking in the sun's glorious rays was considered healthy. No one
pondered the aftermath of the sun's fury. No one expected to acquire
leathery skin and wrinkles galore, but they did nonetheless. Just take a
look at the old lady on "There's Something About Mary." She's a prime
example of someone who's sunbathed their entire life. YUCK! I could make
a suitcase with that woman's flesh. On the other hand, that era can be
put behind us with contemporary tanning products. Now it's more about
massaging the tan into the skin, rather than lying out in the sun. The
greatest thing about sunless tanning products is that they have no messy
aftermath.
Try a few and see for yourself. Of the new-age sunless tanning products,
I'd have to guess that the subtle ones are the biggest hit right now.
Lotions such as "Touch of Sun" are being snagged off the drugstore
shelves everywhere. Apparently they leave no messy orange streaking
behind. This is key in sunless tanning products. NO ONE wants to look
like a messy science experiment. Another option you may want to try is
mist-on tanning. This is done in a professional atmosphere and is
supposed to be all the rage right now. Get your tan on the safe way!
