With Lip Gloss There Is No Need To Fuss About Color
I can’t wear lipstick. I don’t know why, but I have never found anything
that looks good on me. Therefore, if I want to add a little color to my
lips I have to wear lip gloss. Though I’m not too worried about the
color of my lips, there are days when I look pale and drawn, and the
gloss makes my face look a little more alive. The right gloss
adds just a little color without making you look overly made up.
Lip gloss is always easy to apply when compared to lipstick. If you have
ever tried to apply lipstick when you don’t have a mirror, you know just
what I mean. With lip gloss, however, you can apply with a finger rather
quickly and you don’t have to worry about having it in the wrong place
or having it on your teeth. It just seems to go where you want it to go
without giving it much thought. If you are wearing clear, you don’t even
have to consider where it goes.
Another plus of lip gloss, at least in my experience, is that it is more
portable and you don’t have to worry bout it melting like the lipstick.
On the rare occasion that I have had lipstick with me in my purse, I
have had a few melt into the tub on a very hot day. When I opened the
tub up, there was a gooey mess there, and I had to throw it away. Lip
gloss just stays in the container and won’t cause that problem because
many of them are a liquid to begin with.
What I really like about
lip gloss is that you don’t have to fuss about
the color too much. You can get a few different colors and the shade
will blend well with your lip color. You don’t want something that looks
unnatural of course, but a red that goes with your coloring should be
easy to find. If you like pink, the color will depend on how much of the
lip gloss you put on and what the natural color of your lips might be.
For me, it’s an easy way to get some color with out having to fuss about
it constantly. Does that make me low maintenance? If it does, someone
please tell my husband that for me.
